UFC Fight Night 59 Medical Suspensions Handed Out

Despite making quick work of Ron Stallings, Uriah Hall did not escape the injury bug at UFC Fight Night 59.

According to the medical suspensions released by the Massachusetts Athletic Commission, Hall needs to have his right knee cleared or be forced to sit for 180 days. His opponent, Stallings, received a 60-day suspension.

Others including Dennis Siver, Gleison Tibau and John Howard were all given suspensions, which you can see below. As always, they can be cleared early by a physician.

Dennis Siver suspended for 60 days.

Uriah Hall suspended for 180 days unless he gets his right knee cleared by a physician.

Ron Stallings suspended for 60 days.

Gleison Tibau suspended for 45 days for a laceration.

John Howard suspended for 45 days with 30 days of no contact. He requires clearance by his primary care physician.

Patrick Holohan suspended for 180 days unless he gets his left ankle x-rayed and cleared by a physician.

Johnny Case suspended for 180 days unless he gets his ribs x-rayed and cleared by a physician.

Frankie Perez suspended for 30 days.

Charles Rosa suspended for 60 days with 30 days of no contact. He requires clearance by his primary care physician.

Sean O’Connell suspended for 30 days for a laceration.

Matt Van Buren suspended for 180 days unless possible nasal fracture is cleared by physician. If he is cleared, he is still suspended 45 days with 30 days of no contact.

Joby Sanchez suspended for 30 days if CT scan is normal. He requires clearance for his left orbital.

Tateki Matsuda suspended for 180 days unless he gets his right knee and foot x-rayed and is cleared by a physician.
